The Boeing 737-800 course is designed for the professional pilot either transitioning onto the Boeing 737-800 for the first time or, as a refresher for a First Officer considering their first command.

If this is your initial transition to the 800 this course would normally be delivered over five days.

We cover all systems to include the following;

Aircraft General, Flight Controls, Electrical, Hydraulics, Landing Gear & Brakes, Pneumatics, Air conditioning, Pressurisation, Ice & Rain Protection, Fuel, Engines, APU, Fire Protection, Warning Systems, Flight Instruments, Navigation, Auto Pilot, Auto Throttles, Flight Director, Flight Management System, Aircraft Communications, Emergency Equipment, Oxygen, Lighting.

The course is quite intensive normally starting at 08:30 and finishing at 16:30 with an assessment at the end. We will combine some of the theory with practical demonstrations in our very own B737-800 simulator.

If however, you have already flown the 800 and are wishing to expand and/or refresh your systems knowledge, this course can be shortened and delivered over a period that suits your current knowledge.

Student Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course students will

  1. Have a greater understanding of the Boeing 737-800 systems.
  2. Be better prepared for an airline aircraft systems assessment on the B737-800 as part of your endorsement training.
  3. Have an appreciation of the type of technical questions likely to be asked at an airline interview.

Contact us to have a chat about your requirements, your current level of systems knowledge of jet transport aircraft and we can tailor the course to suit your needs and discuss pricing on this basis.
